It's Almost Christmas!!

It's so exciting!!  Christmas is almost here!  There are presents under the tree and Mommy even already filled our stockings.  She said something about getting tired of moving the boxes with our stocking stuffers around.  I think Daddy's looks a little fuller than mine....  I don't think they've figured out that I'm the Princesness Baby and should have the fuller stocking...

In other news...  I had my first picture with Santa.  Daddy says I'm not suppose to suck my thumb, but Santa seemed to be ok with it.

We had Christmas with Daddy's family.  I got to hang out with my Mamaw Schrougham some and I managed to spend some time with my cousins, Ashley, Andrea & Ally getting some fashion tips.  I got a really neat stuffed snowman from my Great Mamaw Cleda.  Mommy thinks its funny to sing "Do You Want to Build a Snowman" to me every time she gives it to me.  Daddy thinks she's silly and I'm pretty sure he's right!  At least she hasn't named him Olaf yet...

We also had our Christmas with Aunt Jaimy & Uncle Kirby.  I got lots of attention!  Aunt Jaimy's Mommy and Daddy kept me entertained and gave my Mommy and Daddy a chance to visit (I'm pretty sure they are missing their little buddy, Justus, but I'll help him out and stand in until he can come to visit again).   I got a really cool stuffed elephant and a book about Christmas!  Kyle read it to me and then he decided to wear a bow like mine!  And we took a picture of course...

The last two Sunday's I've worn really fancy dresses!  One my Mamaw got me and it's all silver and sparkly and because Mommy is a new Mommy and didn't know she should have washed it really well before I wore it.  I was ok with it since I left a trail of sparkles everywhere I went, just like a fairy princess!  Of course, since we visited Mommy's friend Pastor Jeremy at his church that Sunday, Mommy felt really bad for the person who cleans for them!

This Sunday I wore a red and green Christmas dress!  I was all dressed up and even wore shoes for a while.

Don't I look pretty?

Oh, and did I mention that Daddy built me my first blanket fort?

What do you think?

Merry Christmas to Everyone!
Love,
Princess Myka

All Things Christmas

It's beginning to look like Christmas around here and I have lots of outfits to prove it!  I'm a regular Christmas Princess!

Saturday Mommy, Daddy and I checked out Victorian Christmas.  I saw my first puppet show and we had a lot of fun!

In other news, I've watched Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer for the first time.  I really liked the music and colors.  Mommy is pretty sure I actually paid attention!  Of course Daddy was there to save me from the Abominable Snowman, so everything was ok.

I've also started playing with my toys (if Mommy puts them in my hand at least...  But I have fun).

Tonight, Mommy says we are going to decorate my very own tree for my room.  It has bright colored lights, but I'm trying to decide if I need flashing lights or some that just stay on....  Well I'll have Mommy post some pictures after we get it decorated.

Talk to you later!

The Thanksgiving Adventure

Goodness!  It's been such a busy time for me!  With Thanksgiving, holiday shopping, checking our Vincennes and meeting all of my cousins I've been really moving!

I met my cousin Shae first.  I think she's going to be a big helper!  She's already helping me with fashion choices.  She picked out my jammies for to wear the first night she came to visit me!  She also helped me eat supper.

My next big day was Thanksgiving!

Wasn't my outfit the best?  I'm pretty sure no one else had one quite like it!  Oh my goodness...  Was Thanksgiving busy!  There was such a big crowd at lunch!  I was quite the center of attention.  Mommy still made me take a nap though.  Right in the middle of all the big people action!

After we were done with lunch with Daddy's family we went to Vincennes for the weekend!  It was my first big trip!  I met so many people!  I met my great-aunts, Lynn, Sally and Peggy and also my Great-Grandpa Vieck.

Friday, Mommy and I went shopping with Aunt Sally and Grandma Vieck.  We got some pretty good deals!  Mommy stocked up on some movies for this winter for us to watch with Daddy.  In fact, I think she might be planning a Harry Potter marathon if we get snowed in....  I bought my Christmas present for Daddy!  I think he'll really like it!  Of course Mommy helped, but it's definitely from me!  I'll have to have Mommy share a picture of it when he opens it!

I also got to go check out my Uncle Nathan & Aunt Jennifer's house.  Did I mention I got to spend time with my cousin's Billy and Wyatt this trip?  I even got to help decorate Grandma Vieck's tree!  Well, ok, I put one ornament on the tree, but next year maybe I can help as much as my cousin's Billy and Wyatt did!

On Saturday, Mommy, Daddy and I checked out Vincennes.  We went out to eat at Baker's Alley and went shopping at the Fort Sackville Project and Faith Store there.

I got to meet more of Mommy and Daddy's friends (yes, Daddy has friends in Vincennes!  Isn't that crazy?)  Then we went to visit my Great-great-aunt Loretta.  Of course then there was Thursday Church on Sunday!  I kind of slept through most of it though....  And that was with Mommy and Daddy picking a seat fairly close to the front!  Mommy kind of thought the drums might wake me up, but not this girl!  I didn't get to hear Pastor Debbie since she wasn't there, but Pastor Dave did a good job (I slept through the music, but was awake for some of the message).

Well, that's what's up with this Princess Baby!
Until later...
